You're beloved TOOL is back! Now so i dont get bombarded with questions about why i'm here and Lena is not. I will make this post and answer respective questions here.
I quit the Coast Guard after completing the first couple of weeks of boot camp. I did not quit because it was too hard or any of that crap. In fact, I was at the top of my platoon militarily and near the top of my batallion. However, when thinking about attending the Academy, I was only thinking of the immediate gratifications; such as the enormous challenge that i proved i could handle and conquer, and the fact that I'd have an awesome degree that could get me a job anywhere i wanted.
The things i neglected to seriouslly consider were the after-academy life. things like being trained to think the -exact- same way as my peers. dressing the exact same way. and having to be an officer for at least 5 years afterwards. so for 9 years total the constitution and bill of right would not apply to me. Instead i would be subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
I was detained a week after i requested to disenroll due to my performance. the Admiral himself gave me a 3rd chance to stay. but somehting didn't feel right. I knew within my heart of hearts that military wasnt for me. the only thing that appealed to me about it was the challenge. And living in the military for 9 years wasnt worth the challenge.
I will be attending Georgia Tech in August and majoring in computer sciences or something extremely similiar.
Now I know some of you could care less about any of this, but for those who would have asked this is for you.
Let the gaming continue.
It's gonna be crazy mad fun.
