Sorry G.W, your phallic missiles -have- to go. As do all the lingam and yoni in India. Can't have that. No no no. Oh, and everything that could be potentially taken as an insult, that has to go while we are at it. Oh, and any images that may be offensive. And emotions, those may be over-reactive and over-analyzed and that may cause issues, so those will have to go. And the colours pink and blue can no longer be used in childrens clothing. Male/Female sprokets? Hell no. Soda bottles will need to be reshaped into something less phallic as well. That, or they will need to be shipped in phallic and vaginal shapes, something roughly orchid like should work. And all things with religious connotation -must- go. So no more singing 'Mary had a little lamb' to the kids. No Hindus, no Buddhas, no Christians, no Scientologists. They all have social stigmas and biases that they cause and have caused against them. So simpler to re-name them to 'The Gender Non-specific Religion based on Faith and the Doctrines found within the New and Old Testaments of the Bible.' Cause lord knows we can't have the word Christ in Christian. And Buddha? Well, lets just not go there. Pali Cannon indeed!
While we are at it, the entire language of English needs to be re-examined and purged of terms that may be offensive, by definition or social connotation. And paise and condemnations must be changed. Unified and standardized so there is no confusion or over elaboration leaving room for insult.
Double-plus not Wow, Double not Wow, Not Wow, Wow, Double Wow, Double-plus Wow.
Those should do.
And…
Political correctness (at least in the mix and combat-zones) simply does not exist.
With all the religions, fringe or not, with all the globe hopping, it just isn't an issue.
Maybe in the future, even one so dark, people have smartened up and learned that diversity is one of the things that makes the human race strong, and the differences between peoples should be celebrated, or at the -very- least, tolerated.
Attempting to hide the differences by erasing references to them in language serves no purpose but to encourage small mindedness and devisivness, and I hate that.
So, on that note, click here.
