After over nine months of recycling materials that other people have used to make things and turning them into clothes I really thought I had seen it all. I'd seen cows and crutches, showers that came in a can, driver's liscences, whips, chains…you name it but I have to send out a heartfelt thank you to whoever created the follow:
Sent:l burning torch
A metallic baseball bat that has a piece of cloth wrapped around the top. The cloth is burning brightly, but does not appear to be getting consumed by the flames. It is almost as if it was doused in some kind of lighter fluid. The light of the flames casts deep shadows throughout the room.
They even went to the effort of making @wear/@owear/@remove/@oremove/@worn messages for it describing how a person was using the make shift torch.
To you...anonymous torch-maker I say thanks for the chuckle. I'm just glad she didn't burn her hands on it before it became a pair of sneakers or a hat.
