The article is specifically about vulnerabilities in the DJI platform. But what really stood out for me was the mention that organizations are already programming drones to fly pre-programmed routes for security purposes.

Drones are actually outstanding for security. There are various models we used in the military overseas from the giant predator drones to essentially handheld RC drones . I can only imagine how advanced they will be in the next few years.
