This Dynamic really is interesting. I've never been to burning man. But growing up in the computer underground I knew about it in the early 90s. A lot of the Silicon Valley Tech people they talk about going there are acquaintances and friends of friends of people I grew up with.
"Everyone" realizes how the entire event has been co-opted. The tech Elite who go out there these days really are the kind of deluded megalomaniacs who would try to do something like build Withmore.
