The first contentious objector I met in the Federal government was a DEA agent. He spent a bunch of time fighting the cartels in the 1990s. I did a Presidential security detail. He was activated on 9/11.
He told me that he stopped working for the Federal government because he saw that the whole system was setup to implement individualized citizen tracking. For him, as a Christian, it was too close to the Mark of the Beast for his liking. He didn't want to be a part of it. That was circa 2005.
I stopped working at my last job because they were leaning heavily into machine learning and data analytics in service of the national security state. They built the dragnet surveillance system under a contract from the US Secret Service under the auspices of "protecting the President and the executive branch" from potential online threats. That was 2021. I couldn't consciously continue to work for an organization that was building those tools.
All signs are pointing to the Federal government and the military ramping up for what they see as the inevitable social unrest that is going to quickly occur in the next ~5 years. It's very likely that the dollar is going to collapse, or at least hyper inflate.
The exact mechanisms of how people are going to be onboarded into the system isn't clear yet. Migrants and anyone crossing the border will be enrolled for sure. Full biometrics. Passports holders upon next renewal will likely be opted in as well.
Once the dollar implodes, there will likely be some mechanism for mandatory re-financing all of all existing debts. It will likely be presented as easy for mortgage holders. (Don't worry about the fine print. Just keep sending in your payments using the New US Dollar. Twice as good as the old one. Or whatever…)
At the same time as the surveillance state and the law enforcement functions are being strengthened, the social safety nets of SNAP, Medicaid and Social Security are being gutted. Not to save money, because the bill INCREASES the debt by $2T+. It's simply to hasten the transition.
Remember, we are all we have. Love your neighbor as yourself. To unto others as you would have them do unto you. And, be the change that you want to see in the world.
