I think the dome needs to have that. We are in a mass marketed, consumer whore environment. A place where James the nerd gets hot super models cuase he has the most cool shit. A place where anything can go, and people sell there bodies off as advertising. I've always seen the world of Transmetropolitan (a comic on Vertigo) as a sort of inspiration for the dome. Mad marketing to the moronic masses who really don't give a shit about life any more, just consuming stuff.

I think I mentioned this before. I will again.
The dome needs music. Bands. Megagroups. stuff like that. I think it would be cool if ICly there were a group of bands that are popular. Not popular. Mildly popular. Stuff like that. What sorts of music would be in the dome? Goth? Thrasher? 1020 D&B, SpeedPunk? Dynamic Dark Trance? Rap? Skidd-ho? Are covers and remakes of David Bowie songs as popular as I think they should be?!
I want booty-bouncin music! Bands to rush out and buy tickets for, to rock out in a concert at the Withmore Arena. It'll add loads of atmosphere, giving people things to talk about in what I like to call, 'RP Downtime': those spaces between times when your IC plots are exploding in your face or GM's are haunting you with there insainity. On top of that, it gives newbies something to grab on to in the first few times on. the talk of the town.

Well… with 65 million people, I'm sure that EVERY type of music is in the dome... Mozart, Jimmy Buffett, Pink Floyd, Dolly Parton........... Now what's popular... I dunno, what's your character enjoy?

Nic if you remember before I left for the 1st…2nd...3rd time maybe? I tried to start the party atmosphear(raves for you newskool kiddies outs there) but that didn't seem to work.....I still have ~ALL~ of my Luc(TM) party stuff! lights confetti launcher:) I'd be willing to rent out for bands and such if they ever came up:)........

Nic's made himself REALLY well known as a tailor. And cuz of that he's got biz….it's crazy!
I think Advertising seriously helps! You'd think because this is a fictional world it wouldn't, but it does! Nic is -known- as a tailor by even newbies....so who do they go to?? NIC! Plus if you advertise it's like sealing it as the job yer willing to do and you mean business.
Anyone who wants to start up a company that you can do on your own...or can pull together...advertise it.
(Not to mention that it shows willingness to spend money to get money)
