On Red, life expectancy due to disease, living conditions, and birth control isn't all that hot. If you make it to 60, you are mroe than old. Birth rates tend to be higher on Red as well. It maintains a steady state, with a slow growth rate, probably around 2-4%, depending on the year.
On Gold/Green/Blue the population rate is very stable, with the majority of growth attributed to immigration. Life spans are higher, reaching the age of 100 is not uncommon, and reaching 120 or so happens regularly. On the top sides, population is stable, probably a 1% Growth at -Maximum-. That would be in a situation where a large corporate entity brought in a lot of people for the work force.
Hope that helps.
