working day

While packing things in boxes at SHI, after I type 'work' do I just leave it alone and it keeps going, or do I have to keep doing something periodically to not get kicked off for idling?

Good question… that stupid ass piece of factory code has been hacked and changed so many millions of times I haven't the faintest clue what's going on there anymore.

Hopefully a player will be able to help you out... coz this coder don't got a clue.

Ya, if you type work, then you need to be there and do some kind of action or you'll be ejected. This doesn't mean setting up triggers though, or a counter. I think they have code in place which checks for that, not sure.

On a side note, SHI is merely a place to make a few extra bucks. It's not designed to be your main source of income, otherwise people would be sitting in that damn room the whole time they're logged in.

As a newbie, make that few chyen to be able to travel around the dome and explore. Find Bruce and get a better job or make friends with players and get a job that way. I say this cause I still see people who've been on the game for a couple months working in SHI for hours on end.
