It would be nice if you had a handheld device, which you connected to your camera network that'd display 3-5 camera feeds max which you tuned to. Viewable only when its toggled on and youre holding it in your hand, not unlike how the feed system for the felibot works.

This already exists in some kind of form, though maybe not exactly as you're envisioning it. Ask around IC.
