Watch [direction]

A feature I've seen in other MUD/MOO games, what if there could a 'watch [direction]' command so you can see people entering or leaving an adjacent room without having to spam the look command? Also for edges so you can watch the street off a rooftop, if you're staking somebody out. A QoL feature that would be really nifty to have, in my opinion.
This exists already through IC means.
Still think you should be able to do it from a room over. Would prevent spamming commands. Just because Cams do it doesn't mean we shouldn't also be able to do this.
It would take a lot of value from the ic means that let you do it, not just cameras.
I think this would be a great quality of life enhancement. It would make sense to gate it behind the appropriate stats and modify it based on the various other systems that are already in the game which enable enchanced degrees of this functionality.

To keep it balanced I feel like it should operate similar to the way aim does. By that I mean, if a character is watching and adjacent room, they lose the ability to look in other directions. Eg if they "watch west" they can't also "look north".

Yep, I've wanted this forever I think you should notice shit if you keep an eye on another direction, especially if you're indoors and looking out the door or whatever.
There are IC ways to do this already, and this isn't something I'm personally going to add.

You can keep hopes that Slither will add it, but I don't see a need for this outside of not wanting to do it the way it's available already. (or not knowing there's a way)
