[Sep '26] Improvements Feedback
Feedback on SDeptember '26 Improvements

Feedback thread for September 2026.
Just want to pop in and mention that: the aliases for robots on sec networks feel like a purely negative change to me, and makes rigging and robot operation infinitely more crowded and frustrating to manage.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or if it's intended and I just find it a little clunky, but right now it's a /very/ long model name that instantly appends RIGHT in front to every line of feedback you get without a proper separator, which makes keeping up with bot feedback even harder than it usually is when managing feeds on a robot.

Hard agree. The current robot alias system is a huge eyesore. Can we please have the option to turn off the long string?

Also when using an actual controller, there's an issue where there's a lack of space from the name into the emote itself.

I think some spaces and brackets could pretty much fix this, or making it toggleable.
This super long name showing up is horrible and painful for screenreaders especially.
The point about screenreaders is a really good one, which also makes me wonder if the ability to alias (or maybe shorten, or hide) these super long strings should not be kept behind [redacted] since it presents an accessibility issue?
Slither, thank you for reverting the robot aliases, though with the change it has now become impossible to do something else which I will put a bug report and note in about.
Thank you for the quick update (robot alias v3), unfortunately, it still does not seem to be working.
